Out of hand: Turnovers doom Bulldogs in 34-27 loss to Wildcats

The game was in hand. The Bulldogs were trailing Kentucky 34-27 in the fourth quarter, but they were driving. It was third-and-goal on the 1-yard line. They would have a chance to tie. Georgia called a toss sweep. Freshman tailback Washaun Ealey fumbled.

For Bulldog seniors, it wasn't supposed to end this way

For Georgia's 23 seniors, losing to Kentucky in their final game in Sanford Stadium was not the plan. Not before the game, and especially not at halftime, after the Bulldogs spent the opening half dominating both sides of the ball. But four Georgia turnovers and 28 Kentucky points changed the way those seniors will remember their last game forever.

Bulldogs fall to Alabama-Birmingham, 72-56

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Howard Crawford scored a game-high 21 points as Alabama-Birmingham sprinted to an early lead and cruised past error-prone Georgia men's basketball team 72-56 in a non-conference basketball game Saturday night. Crawford was helped by 17 points from Jamarr Sanders, who sank three of four 3-point shots and all seven free throws.
