BEST OF SATURDAY

Best coming-out party I: Junior flanker Michael Johnson had been used mostly for blocking prior to Saturday's game. He had 11 catches going into the game with Auburn. When the clock hit 0:00, Johnson had caught 13 passes for 141 yards and the game-winning, SEC-East-clinching touchdown. Georgia head coach Mark Richt said Johnson was the man to go to for the touchdown because of his extremely physical play.

Best coming-out party II: Sophomore rover Sean Jones single-handedly kept the Bulldogs in the game Saturday. Jones recorded the first two interceptions of his career in the first quarter against Auburn. The first interception came with the Tigers on the Bulldog 15-yard line. Jones also recovered a Tigers fumble in the first quarter. Just as impressive, though, were his punt returns in the fourth quarter, all of which put the Bulldogs in position for the go-ahead touchdown.

Best comeback performance: Georgia's offense came out flat and dead in the first half against the Tigers Saturday afternoon. The defense looked equally as confused in the first two quarters. After halftime, however, the tables were turned as the Georgia offense racked up 272 yards in the second half, and the defense limited Auburn to 99 second-half yards.
