One thing Athens doesn't skimp out on is music.
But different genres often lack as much exposure as the classic indie rock bands that rule downtown.
As a result, Last Call started to have country music nights every Thursday and Saturday.

"We're trying to establish something you can come to every Thursday and Saturday," said Eyal Reisin, owner of Last Call and DT's Down Under.
Lisa Lee, a junior from Concord, said the special nights help expose more people to the country music they might otherwise miss.
Brantley Gilbert headlines tonight.
Gilbert and his band of the same name are holding a kind of CD release party for its debut album, "A Modern Day Prodigal Son," which consists of all original tunes.
Reisin said there won't be any cover bands at the country music nights because he wants to focus on regional and local country music acts.
Gilbert's band does play covers, but half its set includes originals.
"We're going to be playing a little bit more towards the originals on the CD, though, for the concert," he said.
These special nights at Last Call will last as long as Athens responds.
"My plan is to have them conditionally at Last Call, but obviously, if people aren't interested, things will have to change," Reisin said. "But I'm hoping that won't be the case."
