New DVDs hit shelves this week

This week's DVD releases:
Ridley Scott directs this film about a successful investment broker, Max Skinner (Russell Crowe) who inherits his uncle's French vineyard. He spends some time there fixing it up so he can sell it, but ends up learning a few things about himself in "A Good Year."

"Stranger Than Fiction," directed by Marc Forster, features Will Ferrell as Harold Crick, an IRS agent whose boring life becomes more interesting when he starts to hear a narrator (Emma Thompson). He discovers he is the main character in a new book that mirrors his life, and soon finds out she intends to kill him off in the book.

"Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny," directed by Liam Lynch, stars Jack Black as JB and Kyle Gass as KG in this story about two strangers who meet and form the rock band Tenacious D. In order to become the best rock band ever, the two go on a journey to a rock and roll museum 300 miles away to retrieve a magical guitar pick.

Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as Joanna Mills, a traveling businesswoman who begins to have recurring nightmares about a murder. She travels to the scene of the crime to figure out what happened to the woman in her dreams in Asif Kapadia's "The Return."
