It's never too early to start talking about next year - especially when it comes to Georgia football.

Athlon Sports placed Georgia 16th in its preseason top 25 poll. The magazine reveals its top 25 a day at a time in the month of May, and will release its No. 1 team on June 1.

The magazine predicts the University of Georgia to finish second in the SEC East, and has placekicker Brandon Coutu a third team All-America and first team in the SEC.

It also places cornerback Paul Oliver and punt returner Mikey Henderson on the SEC first team. Quarterback Matthew Stafford, running back Kregg Lumpkin, offensive lineman Chester Adams, defensive lineman Jeff Owens and linebacker Brandon Miller are all placed on the SEC third team.

The Georgia regional edition of the magazine will fetaure Stafford, and is out May 29.
