Paintings fill the rooms of many downtown eateries, providing a nice ambiance for hardcore studiers.
If a new camera was among the birthday presents you received this year, warm up the flash because photography does not go unnoticed.
Even poets have their day with opportunities from local publications.
The Athens Art Association, or AAA, works with its members to display their artwork in places such as Athens Clarke County Library, First American Bank and Highland Hills Village.
"Members of the Athens Art Association are able to have their artwork displayed around town. Students are more than welcome to join," said Nancy Roberson, who used to work with AAA.
