Students create own online Key

University students can use two databases to choose classes this fall -SGA's Key and a student-run counterpart.
SGA compiles statistics obtained from the Office of Institutional Research and maintains the Key on their Web site.
"[The Key] is a great tool for students to choose their class load," Katy Bowers, SGA president, said.
Chris Lindsey, a senior from Grayson, Noah Mink, a senior from Macon and Paul Ruddle, a junior from Valdosta, began their own version of The Key this June-www.UgaKey.com.
This summer SGA realized The Key contained incorrect data. Bowers said The Key should be ready once school begins.
"Students need to have access to correct information. We felt like [The Key] needed to be back up and in an easier-to-use format than a bunch of pdf files," said Lindsey.
