The following unrelated incidences were reported by the Athens-Clarke County police department:

Five entering autos occurred in one night at Chadsworth Commons on 210 East Cloverhurst Avenue. Katherine Doane said an iPod worth $200 was stolen from her vehicle between 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 19 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 20. Julie Barry reported an iPod worth $300 and a conversion kit worth $80 was stolen between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. Justin Michael Harris reported an iPod worth $350 and a wireless transmitter worth $80 were stolen between 11 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. Brooke Westmoreland reported an iPod worth $250 and an iPod docking station worth $150 stolen. Lauren Elizabeth Mooney reported a CD player worth $200 stolen.

An entering auto occurred at Legacy Mill Apartments on 125 Jennings Mill between 10 p.m. on Aug. 19 and 8:15 a.m. on Aug. 20. Hannah Rhodes Ward reported an iPod worth $300 and an iPod car adapter worth $70 stolen. The driver side window was broken.

An entering auto occurred at Lumpkin Square on 1515 South Lumpkin Street between 10 p.m. on Aug. 19 and 8 a.m. Aug 20. Mary Claire Keane reported a CD player worth $200, an iPod worth $250 and sunglasses worth $120 stolen.

A theft occurred at 294 South Lumpkin Street between 1:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Aug. 19. Matthew Smith reported several cards stolen. One card had been charged more than $400 at various gas stations.

Andrew Eric King and Carso Dewey Putnam were arrested for underage possession of alcohol in the Lamda Chi Alpha parking lot on 990 South Milledge Avenue at 1:40 a.m. on Aug. 22. Officer G. Davis heard yelling and laughing and approached the house. Five males were found in the back parking lot of Lambda Chi. President David Jensen Jr. took responsibility for the noise violation. He was issued a citation. Earlier that evening, Alexander Walker Murphy and Christopher J. Beaulieu were arrested at 12:15 a.m. They were both officers, and a noise citation was issued to Murphy because Jensen was downtown.

Daniel Kyle Helms was arrested for simple battery under the Family Violence Act at Cloverhurst Apartments on 200 Cloverhurst Avenue for hitting roommate Daniel Kyle Thursby on Aug 22. Helms was heavily intoxicated and pushed Thursby heavily when Thursby tried to help him into the bathtub. Helms struggled when Thursby tried to help him. Helms drank while taking medication that was not supposed to be consumed with alcohol.

The following unrelated arrests were reported in the Clarke County Sheriff's Office booking log:

James Cody Adler, 19, was arrested for underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 3:20 a.m. on Aug. 23.
