Pharmacists unable to take the suspended national pharmacist licensing exam can reschedule for early November.
The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy announced last week its goal to reinstate the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination before a Nov. 1 deadline.
NAPLEX and the Georgia MPJE were suspended Aug. 25 after a lawsuit was filed accusing a University professor of collecting and disseminating test questions.
The state boards will be notified by e-mail once the reinstatement date is final.
Reactivation of the Georgia MPJE may take longer according to a news release on Sept. 13 from the NABP Executive Committee.
The NABP "cautiously estimates" reinstating the Georgia MPJE in late November or early December.
Efforts to contact Carmen A. Catizone, executive director of the NABP, were unsuccessful Wednesday afternoon.
