"I said we're going to call it. See who can make a play. They asked who I wanted and I said I don't care. Somebody's about to win it right here."
- Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo on calling the game-winning touchdown.
"We're not too young, we're not too green to win on the road and we can compete week in and week out."
- Bobo
"My greatest memory - it has to be my greatest memory. (Wide receivers) Coach Eason always talks about making memories and that's going to stay with me for a long time. We just lined up and called a fade route. It was my job to beat my man. Matt (Stafford) gave me a great ball, and I made the play."
- Georgia receiver Mikey Henderson on the game-winning play, his first touchdown as a Bulldog.
"This is a great atmosphere. It just feels great to come out with an SEC victory. It was unbelievable. At times I couldn't hear myself. You play football to go into a hostile environment, play in big arenas and try to make plays. It was a whole lot of fun."
- Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford
"We had been getting single coverage all night and we just tried to max the protection and let Mikey (Henderson) run behind the guy and go up and get it. I couldn't tell if he caught it or not, but I saw everyone going crazy and I just joined in. It's the biggest one (dog pile) I've been in."
- Stafford
"Mikey (Henderson) is a wonderful kid. He's a little-bitty guy. Not a lot of people recruited him, but when we saw him in camp, we saw how fast he was and what good ball skills he had. We thought, 'Shoot, he'll grow a little bit and get stronger," but he never did. He's a super kid, though, and I'm glad he got blessed with this kind of memory."
- Georgia head coach Mark Richt
"It's certainly a big win. We were underdogs. Nobody was giving us a chance, saying that Alabama was rolling too well and don't get me wrong they played us great, they made us fight to the wire. Mistakes were made, but the most important thing was we put that behind us and focused on the next play."
- Georgia tailback Thomas Brown
