The time has come again to rock for a rad reason.

Beginning this week, the University's Music Business Program is starting their annual series of shows in coalition with Nuci's Space.

The first of four shows takes place tonight, featuring Mouser and Cinemechanica.

Behind the $5 admission fee is a full donation to Nuci's Space's nonprofit mission for the welfare of local musicians.

The blood, sweat and tears of music business students is also in the mix as they are responsible for "the soup to the nuts" of every single gig, said Music Business Program Administrative Director Bruce Burch.

"The students do everything from the booking, to the promoting, to the green room and concessions," Burch said.

Morgan Klaus is one of the Music Business students responsible for the Oct. 4 performance featuring WiLX and Son 1.

Series continues Oct. 4 featuring Son 1 and WiLX. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Nuci's Space.
"We're really in charge of everything - food in the green room, merchandise - we're going between one another and Nuci's Space and it's being totally run by our team," said Klaus, a junior advertising and speech communication major from Snellville. "It's a great experience and it's a great thing."

Proposed by Nuci's Space, the series is a joint effort between the Music Business Program and the non-profit organization.

Both parties hope to garner more exposure through this year's run of concerts.

In addition to benefitting Nuci's Space, the series is a chance for the students to get a taste of the real music business world.
