The following unrelated incidents were reported by the Athens-Clarke County police department:
A theft occurred at The Grit on 199 Prince Avenue between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sept. 25. Sachel Seabrook reported her purse stolen from her University van. There were no signs of forced entry. Her credit card was used fraudulently at the Golden Pantry and Quick Spot stores on Jefferson Road.
An entering auto occurred at Jackson and Dougherty streets between 9 p.m. on Sept. 25 and 3:50 a.m. on Sept. 27. Charles Azotea reported $200 CD player stolen.
Criminal damage to property occurred at 255 Richard Way between 2:45 a.m. on Sept. 27 and 3:30 a.m. William Crawford reported a $1,600 damaged by his two roommates.
Ashley Marie Lohse, 20, was arrested and charged with false name on license and underage possession of alcohol at Wall and East Broad streets at 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 27 after she and a male threw trash on the sidewalk.
An entering auto was reported at West Hancock and Harris streets between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Sept. 23. Allison Doherty reported an $80 purse, $30 handbag, $50 face wash, $200 retainer, $25 cook book, $10 shampoo and $5 stain remover stolen.
An entering auto occurred at 231 Derby Street between 8 a.m. and 945 a.m. on Sept. 26. Joshua Barton reported a wallet, cash and $300 iPod stolen. The passenger side window was broken with a hard object.
The following unrelated incidents were reported by the UGA police department:
Holly Killam Gumble, 19, was arrested and charged with suspended license and failure to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk at Broad and Thomas streets at 4 p.m. on Sept. 26.
A theft occurred at Russell Hall between 2 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 25. A female student reported her $200 bicycle stolen.
A theft occurred at Memorial Hall between 7 p.m. on Sept. 25 and 10 a.m. on Sept. 26. Five computer monitors valued at more than $1,500 in total were stolen.
The following unrelated arrests were reported in the Clarke County Sheriff's Office booking log:
Thomas Matthew Bailey, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 2:52 a.m. on Sept. 26.
David Charles Benkeser, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 2:54 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Kevin Copp, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 3 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Peyton Clarke Edwards, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Edward Neal Foxhall III, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 2:40 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Hanna Elizabeth Hall, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. She was booked at 2:10 a.m. on Sept. 26.
William Daniel Jordan, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 2:50 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Maria Rose Minnick, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. She was booked at 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Andrew James Mistretta, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 2:42 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Margo Elyse Possehl, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. She was booked at 2:25 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Cullen McReynolds Timmons, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Eric Nicholas Vincent, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 3 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Amanda Carmel Ward, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. She was booked at 12:40 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Zao Yang, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and noise ordinance violation. He was booked at 2:38 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Kashik Brown, 25, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass. He was booked at 3:13 a.m. on Sept. 27. Brown is a Myers Hall utility worker.
Jason Irving Coleman, 23, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper driving and obeying traffic signals. He was booked at 6:50 a.m. on Sept. 27.
Ashley Rose Council, 20, was arrested and charged with seven felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals. She was booked at 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 27. Council is a laboratory helper with the University veterinary teaching hospital.
Thomas Hardin Duncan, 19, was arrested and charged with hit and run of a parked vehicle. He was booked at 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 27.
Michael Alan Kuperman, 20, was arrested and charged with obstruction of an officer and underage possession of alcohol. He was booked at 3:45 a.m. Sept. 27.
Sarah Rachael Stone, 20, was arrested and charged with improper backing and leaving the scene of an accident. She was booked at 5:42 a.m. on Sept. 26.

What do any students, the university, or the Red and Black have to gain from reorting underage drinking and related crimes. It's one thing to post articles related to theft, domestic violence, rape, etc. (Continued…)

I completely agree with Connor. What is the point of crime watch? I don't get off on finding out who arrested. I read crimewatch to find out where I should go or not go. (Continued…)
