Athens-Clarke County Police are looking for two men who struck and killed a pedestrian early Sunday then drove away.

Police released a report at 4:32 p.m. Monday with a description of the vehicle.

According to the news release:

At 1:51 a.m. a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian on Oak Street near the intersection of Inglewood Drive.

The vehicle left the scene after hitting the pedestrian.

Witnesses described the vehicle as a light-colored box style car, possibly a Volvo. It was occupied by two white males and the driver had brown hair.

"We don't have much information right now," Lt. David Coker of the ACC police said in a phone interview Monday evening. "But we would appreciate any help on the details."

Anyone with information can call Coker at 706 208-1718, ext. 223 or Kenny Brown, ext. 238.
