Water bubbles up from a broken water main line on Cedar Street Tuesday morning.

A water main break early today on Cedar Street caused water to be shut off to Conner Hall, Poultry Science, and Food Science.

The six-inch line was repaired by Athens-Clarke County crews by 2:20 PM and Cedar Steet is expected to reopen to normal traffic within the hour.

As of 3:15 PM, the westbound lane was open but the eastbound lane was still closed.
