Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. recognized University student Nikul Parikh for his academic and campus involvement with its highest undergraduate award and honor.

Parikh, a senior majoring in microbiology and cell biology, was given the Guy Levis Grant Award and distinguished as a Kappa Fellow.

During the summer, Parikh traveled to South Africa as a diplomat for the fraternity and coordinated community service programs there.

He was re-elected as the Southeastern Province Junior Vice-Polemarch, the fraternity's highest undergraduate position within the South Carolina and Georgia region.
