What I'm not used to, however, is how the gorgeous and glorious season virtually has come and gone without giving anyone a chance to savor it.
Chalk it up to global warming, perhaps? As Thanksgiving creeps toward us and we cross our fingers that the Georgia foliage finally will fall, it's going to be winter before we know it.
