FIRST QUARTER Kentucky 10, Georgia 0

After cornerback Asher Allen returned the opening kickoff 82 yards, tailback Knowson Moreno fumbled, and Kentucky recovered. After the teams traded three-and-outs, Wildcat quarterback Andre' Woodson connected with Keenan Burton for a 36-yard touchdown to give the 'Cats an early lead. After a Matthew Stafford interception, Kentucky got close enough to get a field goal and go up 10-0.

SECOND QUARTER Kentucky 10, Georgia 7

Stafford's pass was intercepted again, but the Georgia defense held the Wildcats scoreless in the quarter. Moreno finished off a 13-play, 80-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown run to cut Kentucky's lead to three points. Georgia safety Kelin Johnson picked off Woodson to end the first half.

THIRD QUARTER Georgia 21, Kentucky 13

After Georgia blocked a Kentucky punt, Thomas Brown ran in a one-yard touchdown to give the Bulldogs the lead. Stafford would add a 10-yard run to stretch the lead to 21-10. After another Wildcat field goal Brown fumbled and gave the ball back to Kentucky, but the defense held again.

FOURTH QUARTER Georgia 24, Kentucky 13

The Bulldog defense shut down the Wildcat offense in the final quarter, sacking Woodson three times. Senior Brandon Coutu added a 46-yard field goal to give the Bulldogs an 11-point lead that would stand until the end of the game.
