Staff Sergeant Bannach from Fort Benning uses Max, a police dog, to demonstrate "patriot work," in which dogs are used to aid in the detention of suspects, to a group of students in the Military Science Introduction to the Army class on the lawn outside the Journalism building Tuesday. The class focuses on leadership and Army values as well as life skills. The dogs are trained for both patriot work and detection.
