For the cover story about the Miss UGA Pageant, I took a lesson from Editor in Chief Juanita Cousins in the recent oddities and strange tactics of pageantry - Miss America's run-in with the law, a pepper sprayed sabotage during the Miss Universe contest and Miss Teen South Carolina's unfortunate mapping logic. However, we're sure this University pageant will showcase only the best in class and talent.

Alec, you've made an erroneous statement. Miss America has had no run-ins with the law. Apparently, you're referring to alleged drug use by recent Miss USA, Tara Conner, who spent time in rehab. (Continued…)
