- Phi Beta Sigma week. Sleep-Out with the Sigmas, co-sponsored by Habitat for Humanity. 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. Tate Plaza.
- Habifest. This is the main event of Act! Speak! Build! Week. The evening will begin with a poverty banquet and move to Tate for the building of a cardboard shanty town to emulate homeless living conditions. The event is $10 for dinner and a T-shirt. 7 p.m. SLC 150.
- Brave New Voices: A Spoken Word Poetry Slam. Presented by the Office of Multicultural Services and Programs. It is a free blue card event. 7 p.m. Memorial Hall ballroom. Contact: mspinfo@uga.edu.
- Professor to Speak. Sponsored by the UGA/ACC Young Democrats. Join the Young Dems for a lecture by Arnold Fleischmann about his recent research on politics in Georgia. 6 p.m. SLC 348. Contact: lelrod@uga.edu
- Lambda Theta Alpha Week: Sisterhood of the Traveling Moon. Founder's Celebration. We will be giving out free cake and accepting donations for the Battered Women's Shelter. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tate Plaza.
- Panel Discussion: MFA Speaks. Sponsored by the Georgia Museum of Art and the Lamar Dodd School of Art. Candidates for the Master of Fine Arts degree talk about their work in the coinciding exhibition. 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Georgia Museum of Art. Contact: 706-542-1636

- Forum: Open Mic with Mike. An opportunity for students to discuss university-related issues with President Michael Adams. The event is open to the public.
