- Midpoint Withdrawal Deadline for Extended Summer Session.

- Dance: Ballroom Beach Bash. Sponsored by the Ballroom Performance Group and the Ballroom Dance Club. There will be a free East Coast Swing lesson at 7 p.m. taught by a veteran ballroom dancer. - Family and Consumer Sciences Summer College. Sponsored by the FACS Alumni Association. - Brown Bag Discussion: The Use of Social Networking Tools/The Media By Adolescents. Sponsored by UGA Child and Family Policy Initiative. Professors Alison Alexander and Karen Miller of the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Professor Jolie Daigle of the College of Education will lead a discussion on the potential benefits and dangers of social networking/media tools when used by adolescents, as well as implications for policy and practice.
