Many Athenians regard The Last Resort Grill as a delicious downtown dinner spot with tempting desserts.

What some don't know is that its brunch offerings live up to the restaurant's dinner time reputation.

Whether inside or outside, diners can enjoy elegant brunch items in a relaxed atmosphere.

Omelettes range from basil crab to egg-white and veggie versions.

Decadently stuffed French toast with eggs and bacon are available for traditional brunch-goers.

Shrimp and grits and a duck hash are also on the brunch menu as more of a meal.

Want a little extra? Side orders such as fruit or grits can be added to any meal.

Prices range from $4 to $10, not doing too much financial damage but still satisfying.

A great way to start the day, brunch at The Last Resort Grill is definitely worth a try.
