A sample of Parisian fare can now be tasted just around the corner.

Located on Clayton Street in the former Roly Poly space, Pauley's serves up a bevy of crepe sandwiches tucked in cones.

About as large as a pizza slice and folded up to make a triangle, the sandwiches can be ordered for dine-in or to-go until 3 a.m. almost every night.

Here are a few noteworthy selections on the menu:

Bacon and strawberries crepe: $7

The succulent strawberries were red and ripe, but the sandwich lost out on the tough, dry bacon. It may have been better if the bacon was crisper.

This was the most unusual combination of all the sandwiches, but it worked surprisingly well.

Hawaiian crepe: $6.50

Cubed ham and pineapple chunks made for a juicy, tasty sandwich. Though the cheese was more akin to pizza cheese than buffalo mozzarella. Unfortunately, this wrap was the least filling.

Chicken club: $7.50

A classic reformed by the airy crepe, the chicken club had a nice combination of ingredients and was well-proportioned. It was also the most filling of the sandwiches

Dessert crepe: $5

Sweet, melting Nutella and sliced strawberries meld with the light crepe. Topped with whipped cream, powdered sugar and chocolate syrup, it was a pleasure to look at and devour.

The dessert crepe can also be ordered with caramel, bananas or pineapples as toppings.

The dessert crepe is Pauley's stand out dish and well worth every sugared bite.

Overall, Pauley's prices are steeper than most downtown late-night snacks.

But the convenience of the location, the late hours and the wide selection of beers (over 97 kinds) is a great addition to a town thirsty for craft brewing.
