ESPN's College GameDay to set up in Myers quad

ESPN's College GameDay, which is coming to Athens Saturday for the first time since 1998, will be shooting from the Myers Community quad, Athletic Association representative Claude Felton said Tuesday.
The Myers dorm houses University students in the Honors Program, and is located between Lumpkin Street and Sanford Drive next to the South Campus parking deck.
The show begins airing at 10 a.m. Saturday mornings each week.

Red and Black, GameDay was last here in 1998 when we lost to Tennessee.

I would prefer it if LameDay were boycotted. I think they are full of crap and have become a joke. Any network that appoints Pope John Paul II and Mark May football experts should be suspect to me. (Continued…)

This is the first GameDay since 1998 (UGA vs. UT). Not 1992. ESPN didn't start going to college campuses for GameDay until 1993.

Any "sports" network that allows one of their pundits to call our coach a "pimp" should not be allowed on campus without an apology.
Someone there on Sat should have a sign that has a message:
JIM ROME IS A PIMP
