The food is much better than OK at the recently re-named sandwich shop, A-OK's Café.

This "new" eatery was once named Kirk's but has now changed management.

The underground nook offers an array of toasted sandwiches such as the Reuben and the "ultimate" club, just to name a few.

The sandwiches come with a pickle and a choice of pasta salad, potato salad, cole slaw or chips.

A-OK's also offers five different combination sandwiches that carry the names of different newspapers. For example, there is "The New York Times," which is corned beef paired with pastrami and cheese.

Make sure to check out the daily specials, because the prices of these are significantly less than the regular menu.

Other options at this downtown sandwich shop include hot dogs, soups and salads.

Ranging from $5-7, the prices at A-OK's Café are easy on the college budget and the portions are well worth the money.
