-Freshman
-The freshman from South Africa continued her dominance in the pool, as she won the 500-meter and 1000-m freestyle events. She won two events for the third straight meet and remains undefeated in 500-m for her brief collegiate career.
A.J. Green: Football
-Fr. Flanker
-Green has made making game-winning receptions a habit. For the second straight week he caught the go-ahead touchdown, this time a 17-yarder. The Southeastern Conference named him the Freshman Player of the Week, after his performance in Auburn. He leads the league in yards per game, and total receiving yards.
Ricky McPhee: Basketball
-Jr. Guard
-Sitting out last season after transferring from Gardner-Webb, McPhee made his Georgia debut in grand fashion with 10 points in 11 minutes of play. He was 2-of-3 from 3-point range, made all four of his free throws and had four steals.
