ORLANDO, Fla. - Prior to the season, the Georgia football team may have been dreaming of taking that famous trip to Disney World after winning a national championship, but that's not stopping them from having a little fun in world's happiest place this week.

The Bulldogs visited Disney World on Monday and have trips to Universal Studios and Sea World on the ledger as they continue to prepare for their New Year's Day date with the Capital One Bowl and Michigan State.

Senior defensive tackle Corvey Irvin had time for a quick Disney-themed Q&A session with The Red & Black prior to Monday's practice at Olympia High School.

RB: Ever been down here to Orlando?
CI: I came to Disney World when I was in fifth grade. My fifth grade teacher took me, Mrs. King. I enjoyed it then, I'm enjoying it now. It's a vacation even though we're here on a business trip with
Michigan State. It's good to see all the teammates and the coaches and their kids having fun and enjoying themselves.

RB: Any fond memories from that trip?
CI [smiling]: I went to Sea World. I was standing by the glass aquarium that Shamu is in and he came by and splashed me with salt water. I was smelling like salt water all day long and soaking wet.

RB: The team went to Disney over the weekend, right?
CI: We went to Disney, Hollywood Studios, but I was kind of tired from practice so I didn't really do anything.

RB: No rides, no good stories?
CI: Not really. The crew I was with was kind of tired like me so we just grabbed slushies and ate turkey legs all day.

RB: I know [quarterback Matthew] Stafford was looking forward to getting Mickey Mouse's autograph. Did you meet him?
CI: I didn't meet Mickey, but I met Goofy.

RB: Do you have a favorite Disney character?
CI [smiling]: Donald Duck. I like the way he talks.

RB: Are amusement parks something you get excited about?
CI: I'm not a big roller coaster fan so I'm not excited about that. But I may get on a couple rides depending on how I feel after practice.

RB: Why no roller coasters?
CI [smiling]: I don't like stuff twirling me all in the air and twisting me upside down. That's not normal.
