Umm... a lot of the roads are still pretty bad (not to mention a lot of drivers out there who aren't used to driving in these conditions). If someone gets into a car wreck or slips and falls on the way to class, can they sue the University? I understand they want to keep it open, but a lot of us live off campus. (Continued…)

This is dumb. I live on campus fortunately but it's even hard to get around here. All the sidewalks are iced over and downed trees are everywhere. And, though I'm confident in the abilities of most of the bus drivers, there's no way I'm getting in any vehicle on that black ice. (Continued…)

...seriously. There's an ice rink of black ice behind my car. I wanted to see how bad it was outside and would have busted my a.. and slid down a hill if it wasn't for my car spoiler that I grabbed onto. (Continued…)

If you have an 8 am class, there's absolutely no way to safely make it to class. It's a fact.

Milledge still has one lane near Riverbend. Glad we got the dept. of transportation working hard on that. And just because they say the University will be running a normal schedule tomorrow in no way means that EVERY student can and will be able to leave their houses to go to class. (Continued…)

unfortunately those who cant get out of their driveways have attendance policies that still have to be followed. unfortunately for those in that position, this means that we're either going to lose 5 points off of our final grade or miss our midterm or just put ourselves in danger getting there.
