Houts, a junior point guard, was a member of the second team last season, while this marks the first time that Robinson, a junior center, has been named to an All-SEC squad.
Houts is the engine that has kept Georgia trucking the last two years as she plays almost the entire 40 minutes of games most nights. This season she led all SEC players with 37.5 minutes per game, and an astounding 39.9 minutes per game once league play started. Houts averaged 12.1 points per game and 4.8 assists per contest. Her 26 points against Kentucky last Wednesday set a career high in the victory over the Wildcats. Houts also averaged 2.6 steals per game, the fourth best mark in the conference.
For Robinson, almost every statistical area improved for her with her inside play on most nights for the Lady Dogs. Her rebounding improved as she averaged 9.1 per game, which placed her at third in the SEC.
Robinson also placed third in the league in blocks at 2.1 per outing. Robinson equaled her mark of double-doubles from last season, posting seven.
