Crimewatch: Feb. 25 - March 6

The following incidents were reported by the University Police Department:
University student Louise Mount Joy Proctor, 20, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol, failure to maintain lane, improper U-Turn, underage possession of alcohol and possession of a fake ID. She was arrested at 2 a.m. at Broad Street on March 6.
University student Summit Singh Tucker, 21, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol and failure to maintain lane. He was arrestedat East Campus Road and Green Street at 3:29 a.m. on March 6.
University student Liana Mette, 18, was arrested for underage Possession of alcohol and possession of a fake ID. She was arrested at Russell Hall at 3:54 a.m. on March 6.
A University employee reported a theft by taking at the Vet School on March 3 between noon and 1 p.m. A $150 black leather coat was taken.
Criminal damage to property was reported at Snelling Dining Hall on March 4 at 2:30 a.m. when someone threw a snowball at the building and broke an exterior window.
A University student reported criminal trespass on March 2 at 2 a.m. in the West Deck. The student's windshield was shattered by a snowball.
A University student reported criminal trespass on March 1 at 4:20 p.m. in the East Deck. The student's windshield was shattered by a snowball.
A University student reported harassing phone calls on March 1 at 7:46 p.m. in Brumby Hall.
A University student reported a burglary in Creswell Hall between 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 27 and 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 28. A $589 Toshiba laptop was taken.
A criminal trespass occurred in Russell Hall on March 1 at 3:04 a.m. A fire extinguisher was discharged without authorization, setting off the fire alarm.
University student John Mills Kelly, 19, was arrested in Creswell Hall and charged with underage possession of alcohol and obstruction of a law enforcement officer on March 1 at 1:44 a.m.
A University student reported a theft by taking on Feb. 26 between 8:50 and 9 a.m. in the Pharmacy Building. A bag containing a wallet and cell phone, totaling $364 in value, was taken.
University student Nick R. Regenold was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Feb. 26 at 2:59 p.m. in the Lower Oconee Street lot.
University student Christopher Joseph Holmes, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol on Feb. 26 at 1:50 a.m. in Brooks Hall.
The following incidents were reported by the Athens-Clarke County Police:
Timothy Cole Brannan, 19, was arrested and charged with loitering/prowling on March 6. He was booked at 1:53 a.m.
Zachary Winfield Davison, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol, possession of a fake ID and false name on license. He was booked at 12:56 a.m. on March 6.
Allen Jon Deriemacker, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol, false name on a license and loitering/prowling. He was booked at 1:35 a.m. on March 6.
Jason Christopher Evans, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and loitering/prowling. He was booked at 1:48 a.m. on March 6.
Daniel Richard Gower, 20, was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell. He was booked at 3:44 p.m. on Feb. 27.
Benjamin Elliot Rice, 37, was arrested and charged with DUI Alcohol and failure to obey signals. He was booked at 4:25 a.m. on Feb. 26.
Cory Byron Boslet, 20, was arrested with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance and felony possession/manufacture/selling of marijuana. He was booked at 12:25 a.m. on Feb. 26.
University student Jack Goodwin Young reported an entering auto on Feb. 28 between 2 a.m. and noon at Arbor Creek Apartments. A $150 Lips navigator device, which was in plain view, was taken. The passenger side window was broken.
University building supervisor Mary Francis Jones reported a burglary between 2 p.m. on Feb. 25 and 11:15 a.m. on Feb. 28 on Nellie B. Avenue. A $100 television, a $50 VCR and six T-bone steaks valued at $15 each were taken. Jones returned to her home to see a broken window and an open door.
University students Heather Nichole Abernathy, 20, and Kathy Lee Handley, 19, were arrested and charged with open container and underage possession of alcohol on March 1 at 12:33 a.m. on East Clayton Street. A patrolling officer saw the two drinking outside the arrest location and asked for identification to issue an open container citation. Both girls gave false identification to the officer since neither was 21.
University student Kathleen E. Townsend, 22, was arrested and charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane and open container in vehicle on March 1 between 1:40 and 1:50 a.m. at the intersection of Prince Avenue and Chase Street. Townsend told the officer she swerved because she was texting. In a field sobriety test, Townsend missed her heel three times and stepped out of line twice. She refused a breath test and was arrested under implied consent. The officer searched her vehicle and found two beer cans, one of which still had beer in it.
University student Alex Mass reported a motor vehicle theft by taking on March 2 between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Research Drive. A 1999 black Mercury Sable was taken. Mass had parked her car on the side of the road due to weather conditions and when she returned to get it, it was not there.
University student Morgan Branch reported a criminal trespass on March 2 at 5:40 p.m. on Chase Street. James Jimmie McDonald was drunkenly ringing her doorbell and then refused to leave her front porch.
University student Xuehui Li reported an entering auto between 9 p.m. on Feb. 26 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 27 on Benedict Court. A $100 GPS was taken The passenger side window was smashed out.
University employee Dina K. Becker was burgled on Fowler Drive on Feb. 27 between 9:18 and 9:21 p.m. Her neighbor called the police when he heard a loud noise - Becker's door was being kicked in. The neighbor saw the offender and showed the police the exit route. A $500 Playstation 3 was recovered, though very damaged due to rain.
University student Claire Coenan reported an entering auto at First Presbyterian Church between 9 p.m. on Feb. 26 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 27. A $800 Mac laptop and a $149 iPod Nano were taken. Coenan had left the computer in a bag on the passenger seat, and the iPod was between the console and the driver's seat. The car was locked, but the window was left open enough to stick an arm in and unlock the car.
University employee Michael Yoder reported a burglary on Cabin Creek Road on Feb. 2 between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. A $100 door was kicked in, but nothing was stolen.
University student Kyle Robert Ketelson reported theft or lost property at River Club Apartments on Feb. 19 between 12 and 1 p.m. A $150 iPod was taken. Ketelson lost it while running the complex.
University student Frank Randolph Ficarrotta, 21, was arrested and charged with unlicensed driver, no license on person and traffic control on March 2 between 12:40 and 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Prince Avenue and North Milledge Avenue. The arresting officer was at the intersection because a light was out when he saw Ficarrotta approaching at a high speed, almost striking the police car. Upon being stopped, Ficarrotta had no form of identification. University student Elizabeth Chandler Bentley reported a theft by taking at Boar's Head between 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 28 and 12:01 a.m. on March 3. A driver's license was taken.
