Georgia golfers in 12th at Las Vegas tourney

The top-ranked Georgia men's golf team is in 12th place after
one round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
On Friday, the Bulldogs shot a 15-over-par 303 at the Southern Highland Golf Club. Georgia is 20 shots behind No. 4 Clemson, which opened the tournament with a 5-under 283.
Senior Brian Harman paced the Bulldogs with an even par 72. Harman is 13th in the individual race, five shots behind Southern Cal's Mathew Giles, Clemson's Ben Martin, UNLV's Colby Smith and Georgia Tech¹s Cameron Tringale.
Junior Hudson Swafford signed for a 4-over 76, followed by senior Adam Mitchell at 5-over 77 and sophomore Russell Henley at 6-over 78. Sophomore Harris English had the Bulldogs' non-counting score of 11-over 83. Freshman Will Kropp, playing as an individual, carded a 7-over 79.
