Following Georgia's sending six former football players to the NFL via the draft over the weekend, four more ex-Bulldogs have signed free agent contracts with NFL teams, according to the Athens Banner-Herald.
• Fullback Brannan Southerland, considered one of the top true fullback prospects in the country prior to a foot injury that saw him miss seven games in 2008, signed with the New York Jets.
• Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, also sidelined with injuries in 2008 after high draft expectations, will sign with the Baltimore Ravens, his agent said.
• Wide receiver Kenneth Harris will sign with the New Orleans Saints
• Wide receiver Demiko Goodman plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers
No word yet on whether defensive back CJ Byrd or punter Brian Mimbs have signed free agent contracts.
