OKLAHOMA CITY - Sophomore All-Americans Alisa Goler and Taylor Schlopy were selected to the 2009 Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team as voted upon by members of the media after the conclusion of the championship game late Tuesday night.

The University of Washington won the 2009 national title by defeating Florida in two games in a best-of-three championship series. Following the conclusion of the WCWS, the all-tournament team was announced and the Huskies led the way with five selections including the Most Outstanding Player in Danielle Lawrie.

The Southeastern Conference made up the remainder of the 12 player team. Alabama received three selections while both Florida and Georgia had two players make the squad. The Bulldogs, who were making their first-ever WCWS appearance, went 3-2 in Oklahoma City with wins over Missouri, Michigan and eventual national champion Washington. The Huskies were the only team to defeat the Bulldogs.

Goler, a native of Frankfort, Ill., went 4-for-12 with a home run and four RBI at the WCWS. She also drew four walks and scored two runs. In Georgia's win over Washington, Goler went 2-for-4 including a two-run home run that tied the game at 4-4 in the third inning. The Bulldogs went on to win that contest by a score of 9-8.

Against Michigan, Schlopy hit both of her WCWS home runs and tallied four RBI as the Bulldogs set a WCWS record with four long balls in a game and won 7-5.
